Hehe, topic thanks to my new art buddy.. spent 15 minutes doing some research on squid during the day, blocked in the base shapes from reference and finished up with shading and detailing on the train back home. Overall 1 hr I guess. Oh, inverted it in photoshop so it looks like its descending into the murky depths with its ill gotten prize..
Anyway, feels good to start drawing stuff again.. although I kinda have a craving for sashimi now….
Just a quick 20 min photoshop sketch. Just watched the Invincible Iron Man straight to DVD feature last week, so there’s quite a lot of influence from that. I’d rate the show slightly lower than Superman: Doomsday tho, I guess cause the overall mythology of that one is stronger. Shall watch that Avengers feature if I have the time.
Haven’t been posting very frequently, cause I’ve been thinking that I should try to only post when I have something worthy to post about.. but I think it would be better to just post freely and let it evolve from there. So.. let’s see how it goes..
